Maori managed water and asserted their right to its use particularly for fishing. Colonists soon came into conflict with Maori over water, disrupting traditional fishing through rafting logs, introducing new species and using waterways for wastes. Water was an important early source of power in colonial New Zealand used for milling a variety of products and in hydraulic mining. Gold mining was intimately connected to early hydroelectric development, a use which came to have the most profound effects on New Zealand's waterways. The Law followed the different forms of use of water as they developed. Through mining contamination many rivers were declared sludge canals and their banks taken into Crown ownership - the Queens Chain - to prevent court actions by the adjoining owners. Wetlands have been much affected by development and there is a sad list of lost or endangered waterbird species. Of course, in what relates law and others, a person is considered a native from somewhere if they were physically born in a place. However, for instance, lots of people have parents from overseas, are born physically somewhere, yet will never adopt the foreign culture, changing the culture of the place they migrated to, usually deteriorating, instead of adopting it in full. Maria was a 100% match with the Australian culture and, therefore, far more native, if the physical factor is taken away, than the people who deteriorate the Australian original culture by, literally, `raping' it and letting the tool there... Several issues will appear in the mind of a good researcher whilst reading this book and also in the mind of a `natural' researcher, that is, the person born to do that, with natural skills for the trade. Basically, if human rights people were ever concious of what really brings enjoyment - in equal shares - to the people on Earth, they would definitely reinforce sectarism and protection to the threatened races, one of them being the purely white one... As another basic point, they would obviously make sure a person adopts the culture of the place they want to migrate to, before migrating, so that the culture is not lost, or deteriorated, with the inclusion of the initially stranger in it. Of course, there should be mechanisms for a person who migrates somewhere, or even travels in situations where there is obvious threat, or chance, of migration, such as postgraduate study, always having a `responsible truly native family' for them there. Inclusion should be in full, and people should, realistically, gain legal bonds, for them to decide whether with exclusivity or not, with the native people of a Country, or location where a different and exotic culture has been identified sociologically (Sociology is not doing their job for long), as soon as they gain permanent residency in the Country or location. Families are not only important to guarantee the full preservation of a culture, but also to prevent crime and vandalism to the local wealth. The families should be selected by several scientists, of several areas, Sociology being one of them, so that there is `organized' invasion, or intrusion, rather than the mess which happens now for 2008 years...If such existed, Maria would be saved from the crimes which were responsible for the unnatural vandalization, de-characterization, of her own brains, body, and life: A simple procedure of the government, which would generate several jobs, improve the life of every Australian on Earth, and would have saved Maria by at most 2003, soon after she gains her permanent residency in Australia. Brazilian laws are quite repulsive and allow for family free-loaders, relatives, to dream, and effectively get, what another person ONLY, and SOLELY, has worked for. That apparently harmless governmental decision generates all sorts of abuses and crimes over every honest member of society: A person who dreams with money they did not earn will invariably display a sequence, never only one, of abuses and extraordinary crimes over those whose assets they dream of. So, this book is also about psychopathy and Psychiatry, in those regards. It will be extremely useful, with minimum gain being inspiration, for anyone in Science or Politics, if adequately read. The psychopaths attacking Maria Brasileira never stopped on her, having murdered quite a few young scientists, victimized stars, and murdered, or mutilated, for lifetime several other people. On top, Maria was never the only victim of the most repulsive loins of research which has ever appeared on Earth: the Biotech bomb, or ultimate slavery device, got to be inserted in the head of several people during the time the criminals were left unpunished, all going on since 2002, when of its creation. I am particularly interested in Maria Brasileira, and only know enough about her, that is why the book is only on her case. More than sufficient evidence was presented on the device, even for civil police level, yet nobody on Earth seemed to want another thing that was not stopping Maria from being who she deserved, living at her slaved expense, and injuring her to the most in her own organism, even, without her having a single way out. She tried the whole World, denounced to every possible authority. She is one more heroin who dies standing, but with no person on Earth caring enough about it, or bothering, as it seems to be the case always when the victims are women, males getting same authorities Maria used for denouncement to work for them even 24 hours after the denouncement, and the denouncement being as light as a threat by someone else to their life. Maria denounced to this same sort of authority, which could have run even liar detector over nominally accused, therefore never needing any proof whatsoever to do it, by 2004. Nobody realistically cares when the genius, or priceless being, is a woman, that is all we can say. They did not care about Lady Di, that should be enough evidence of how things are in this World when a woman is the victim, not a male. To make it all worse, any reasonable government would have given the case and its investigation top priority for the existence of such device threatened every possible democratic principle and the freedom of absolutely everyone on Earth. It is trivially the case that Maria was a genius when compared to all her competition, especially in Brazil. One can then easily tell how much women are disrespected, treated with full indifference, as to their suffering, and full inequality when compared to males.
