| A collection of weekly newsletters from the remote and beautiful Kingdom of Bhutan has now been illustrated and expanded to provide a fascinating and often comic insight into an expatriate's life and work halfway up the Himalayas. Learn how to deter demons, drink yak-butter tea and greet a Queen. Meet the Best Landlady in the Known Universe, Sally-from-Melbourne and the Thimphu Hash House Harriers. Anecdotal and eclectic, this is much more than your standard travel book. |

Absolutely great book. It made us both quite homesick for Bhutan having worked there for three years ourselves. Peter's turn of phrase is so clever and he so vividly descibes people and situations. We both roared with laughter at times as we recalled similar experiences. This is an essential book for anyone who has lived there.
